    guacamole for one_hot for food

Here's a clever idea if you just want a small snack or maybe only a taste of guacamole (said no one ever). But maybe you're in a rush and you only have time to stuff half an avocado in your face, say, before yoga or something. This is a recipe for you... a simple and easy guac for one.

If you're totally not rushing or you're having guests over, you'll probably need to make more than half an avo's worth of guac. Try making my protein-packed super guacamole, put it in tacos, or marry it with 6 other vegan ingredients in a savory dip!

    Course: Appetizer, Snack
    Cuisine: Mexican
    Keyword: avocado, dips, guacamole
    Prep Time: 10 minutes minutes
    Servings: 1
    Author: Lauren Toyota

    Ingredients

    • 1 ripe avocado
    • ½ lime, juiced
    • sea salt & ground black pepper, to taste
    • 1 tablespoon salsa

    Instructions

    • Cut avocado in half and use the half without the pit first. Save the pitted half in the fridge. Cut the avocado flesh with a knife in a grid pattern without going through the skin, and then mash with a fork gently.
    • Squeeze half a lime into the avocado mash and combine with a fork. Add sea salt and ground black pepper to taste, and stir a couple times to combine. Dollop with a salsa of your choice and enjoy with your favorite corn chips!
